Pasadena's Wilson Block Magazine is inviting all out to help with a very important cause.
The reason why Bing Bing is walking to help end Alzheimer's is not just because he lost someone
close to him from this horrible disease. He's walking because statistically, Alzheimer's affects many of us and is significantly underfunded compared to causes like breast cancer, autism, and even charities that feed the homeless. In fact, the Alzheimer's Association isn't even in the nation's top 50 charities.
Michael Bing Bing Taylor has been on a mission to make a difference for a few years now. Last year, he was able to raise around $150 to help find a cure for Alzheimer's, however, he was unable to participate in any of the walks due to unforeseen circumstances. This year, in 2016, Bing Bing is looking to raise a minimum of $1,000 to honor his mother and caregivers by joining the Grand Champion's club.
"It's always emotional for me at these walks," says Bing Bing. "When I remember what brings me here, all I have to hold on to are memories from my childhood." Bing Bing is currently inviting anyone who would like to help make a difference in the world to join him for the Walk to End Alzheimer's in LA Live on Saturday November 12th, 2016. JoinBing Bing's Achiever Believers walking team with a $100 donation and receive a free Walk to End Alzheimer's T-Shirt!
