When Women support each other, Incredible things happen and I'm a firm believer that supporting one another creates Black Girl Magic.

This Saturday's walk is dedicated to my cousin Doriane Shamburger. Doriane is a beautiful single mother of two gorgeous young women. Doriane is a strong woman just like all of the women in my family. She's been having some health challenges and I want us to walk for her.

Each step that we take will be our sacrifice to her healing. We together rebuke negative test results from our doctors. We will be healthy and free of disease. I declare and claim great news for us all.

Girltrek was created to gather Black women together to walk away their ailments. The TrekTrailblazers will do just that. We will walk to hold our sister up. If any of you are in the need of someone to stand for you please join us this Saturday because we all are going through something.

Please meet at 6:45 a.m. and wear your GIrlTrek Gear or a blue shirt. Bring water and come with a smile of gratitude. Wear comfortable shoes and bring a friend or two.

God Bless and I'll see you on the Trek.
