HOW MANY MASK DO WE CURRENTLY WEAR? Can we honestly say that we display our true thoughts and emotions all the time, can we honestly say that we pursue what is on our hearts and mind to accomplish without thinking about what others will think of us? I would like for us to ponder over the second agreement from above and begin to work on disconnecting the opinions of others from our minds so that we can become free to be who God wants us to be. When we entertain the reality of others it prevents us from living a burden free, stress free, and peaceful life. See we all have a purpose that we were born to do and whenever another person try's to take on the purpose of another individual it is like striving to occupy the same space at the same time.
Now I am not saying that we can not assist others in accomplishing their purpose that is two different things. When we have an idea and then we
decide to share it with someone and as we approach this person we are on cloud nine and our confidence is on point.
So we begin to share our idea with this person and after they express their views our cloud disappears and we come crashing down terminal velocity because we have just allowed their reality and their opinion to become our reality. How many great ideas have we allowed to be put down because of our inability to stand firm on what God gave to us to do rather it be going back to school or creating a business for ourselves. I don't know about you but I got tired of watching my ideas get created by someone else, I got tired of worrying about what others would think of me and started to focus more on what would God think of me.
There is a scripture that states "strive hard in God's way and not fearing the censure of any censurer." Please look up the word censure to gain more understanding of the point that we are striving to make. Whenever we fear anything other than God himself we have created the greatest sin which is idolatry.
We should live to please the most high. The best thing that we can do in our lives is build healthy relationships with people that are doing what we want to do so that we can learn the things that we would like to do, so that we can do them ourselves. Let us get out of our comfort zone and begin making the changes that will put us on the path of chasing our dreams now and if any of the people in our circle start to leave us, they were never with us in the first place.
Let us not allow our artificial barriers to stop us from gaining our true riches in this lifetime and stop allow others reality to become ours.
More next issue God willing.
